History
Dream it.
Military Service Sisters was founded in 2017, with its first chapter launched in Mountain Home, Arkansas. The organization was born out of a noticeable lack of support networks specifically for women veterans. Many expressed feeling isolated—believing they were the only women veterans in their community.
Grow it.
Through a strong partnership with the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs, Military Service Sisters has been able to expand its reach and more effectively share resources with the women we serve. By creating spaces for connection and collaboration, we continue to grow a statewide network of support.
Build it.
What began as a small group of women veterans gathering for lunches quickly grew as word spread. Soon, women across the state were reaching out, eager to start chapters in their own towns.
Preserve it.
We believe that sharing our stories is one of the most powerful ways to bridge generational gaps and preserve the legacy of women in military history.
